Raspberry Leaf for fertility:

This herb has quite the reputation for supporting a woman's menstrual cycle. Its secret weapons include regulating hormone levels, reducing inflammation, and relaxing the uterus. Plus, it's a vitamin and mineral powerhouse, packed with iron, calcium, and magnesium - all crucial for fertility and reproductive health. If you're looking to conceive, Raspberry leaf is also known to keep Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in check, boosting the odds of conception.

Chaste Tree Berries (Chasteberry or Vitex) for fertility:

This powerful berry can help regulate levels of hormones like Luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which are crucial for ovulation and the menstrual cycle. Additionally, the berries' anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties may alleviate PMS symptoms and help regulate menstrual cycles. Moreover, they may stimulate progesterone production, a critical hormone for a successful pregnancy.

The star ingredients are:

Rooibos: This exceptional South African treasure boasts a wealth of antioxidants that send free radicals running for cover. Roses: Beyond their captivating beauty, roses harbor compounds that can quell inflammation within the body. When life has you stressed and seeking tranquility, sipping on roses can exert a calming influence on your nervous system, both physically and mentally. Moreover, roses are brimming with vitamin C, a vital component for upholding a robust immune system.

Lavender:  It's not just a pretty scent; lavender is a multifaceted herb. And as if that weren't enough, lavender comes bearing gifts in the form of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, ensuring your body stays in the pink of health.

Improve sleep with Sleeptime Glo tea:

Getting enough sleep is vital for your hormones to function properly. Sleep plays a key role in managing hormones including:

  • Stress Hormone (Cortisol): Sleep helps keep stress hormone (cortisol) levels in check, reducing chronic stress risks.
  • Growth Hormone: Deep sleep, especially in the early sleep stages, triggers the release of growth hormone, which is crucial for growth, cell repair, and overall health.
  • Hunger Hormones (Leptin and Ghrelin): Sleep affects hormones that control hunger and appetite. Lack of sleep can disrupt this balance, leading to increased appetite and potential weight gain.
  • Insulin Sensitivity: Sleep influences how sensitive your body is to insulin. Poor sleep can reduce this sensitivity, increasing the risk of type 2 diabetes.
  • Sleep-Wake Cycle Hormone (Melatonin): Sleep regulates melatonin, a hormone that helps maintain a healthy sleep-wake rhythm for better sleep quality.
  • Sex Hormones (Estrogen and Testosterone): Sleep deprivation can throw off the balance of these hormones, impacting reproductive health and libido.
  • Thyroid Hormones: Sleep is essential for regulating thyroid hormones that manage metabolism and energy levels. Disrupted sleep can affect thyroid function.
  • Reproductive Hormones: Inadequate sleep can disrupt menstrual cycles in women and reduce fertility in both men and women.

In simpler terms, getting good sleep ensures that your hormones function smoothly, impacting everything from stress management to weight control and reproductive health. The Sleeptime tea is packed with herbs expertly chosen to help calm your body and mind in preparation for a good night's rest. The star ingredients are:

Chamomile: often celebrated as a stress-relief herb renowned for its anxiety-reducing qualities. By alleviating stress and anxiety, chamomile indirectly enhances your general well-being, potentially creating a conducive environment for embarking on the journey to parenthood. Moreover, chamomile's potential to enhance the quality of your sleep is noteworthy, as it plays a vital role in hormone regulation and reproductive health.

Lemon Balm: With its soothing attributes, lemon balm can effectively alleviate stress and anxiety, which, in turn, contributes to improved overall health and well-being. Additionally, enhanced sleep quality offers better hormone regulation and reproductive health support. For those in need of stress relief, lemon balm is a dependable choice to take the edge off and pave the way for better fertility prospects.

Is it normal for your cycle length to change while drinking fertility tea?

Yes, that can happen and that's a good thing. Cycles should typically sit around the 28 day mark (give or take a few days either side). So if you're extra short or extra long (more than 4 day variance on each side) then you want to slowly start correcting your cycle to that optimum length where hormones are balanced and doing their thing. A balanced cycle is made up of a follicular phase of about 14 days (where FSH and estrogen are being released to get ovaries juicy and ready to release an egg) and then a luteal phase of about 14 days (where progesterone kicks in to keep that uterine line thick and ready for pregnancy). The psychological benefit of drinking tea:

Beyond the physical benefit of the herbs themselves, there is also a psychological benefit of drinking tea for women's health.

The ritual and mindful act of making and drinking tea can be a relaxing process that promotes calmness. By taking a break from the stressors of daily life and focusing on the sensory experience of tea drinking, we can reduce stress and promote relaxation. Tea involves a present awareness of the senses and the act of bringing our mind back to the present moment and focusing on the object at hand (making a cuppa) can have profound benefits for the mind. The ears slowly attune to the sound of boiling water, the eyes focus on the act of making the tea, the nose takes in the aroma of the tea, the hands feel the warmth of the cup and finally, the mouth senses the warm soothing effect of the liquid on the body. Soaking in this moment of pause throughout the day can help reduce stress levels and increase relaxation.
