Our Story
How It Began
Say hello to Sarah de Witt, the founder behind Fertility Glo and your friendly neighbourhood tea sommelier. With almost a decade of tea expertise under her belt, Sarah's journey involved bringing top-notch loose leaf teas to day spas, restaurants, yoga studios, and private clubs all over Australia. She completed a Tea Masters Course in 2014, started two large High Tea event spaces in Melbourne serving thousands of pots of tea, and judged tea competitions in China as a guest judge for The Australasian Tea Association.
While making zillions pots of tea, she received bucketloads of very honest feedback from women about what teas taste good, which teas work for what, and which teas are a powerhouse for women’s reproductive health. Her interest in female hormones, reproductive wellness, and just general good fertility habits led her to create Fertility Glo.
Having built a career on understanding what teas are good for us, what might harm us, and what is nothing more than marketing, Sarah saw a gap for an uncomplicated, effective fertility tea range that actually worked. So she created Fertility Glo; a range of organic, expertly formulated teas that are trustworthy, safe, effective and a delight for the taste buds.
Now, before sharing these amazing teas with the world, Sarah did the ultimate quality check - she tried them on herself. Dealing with infertility for years, she dove into the world of natural herbs to figure out how she could best support the body naturally with herbs like red raspberry leaf, chaste tree berries, and nettle. Having personally experienced infertility, she understood the importance of taking care of your lifestyle to improve your odds and give yourself the best chance to fall pregnant.
Turns out, for hundreds of years, these superhero ingredients helped women with things like painful periods, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, infertility, and endometriosis. After some tweaking and testing, the result is the fabulous Fertility Glo range. The results from her own experience as well as thousands of happy Australian women, well, speaks for itself.
