When should I drink Morning Glo tea?
Every morning! It's a healthy refreshing way to start the day. There is no caffeine in this tea so if you love it so much you want to have it at night, go for your life.
Can I drink this tea while pregnant?
Yes! In fact, many women tell us this tea was their morning sickness lifesaver during their 1st trimester. The ginger and lemongrass helps with nausea. If you don't want it hot (because hot drinks when you're nauseous isn't fun) then cool it down, pop it in your water bottle, add a couple of citrus slices (orange or lemon) and carry it as an iced tea with you during the day. Yum!
Can I drink this tea while breastfeeding?
Yes. This is a safe nursing tea for you and bubba. This organic tea has zero caffeine and is gentle on the stomach both for you and bubba. If you have specific questions check in with your health care professional.
Why is this tea good for fertility?
Lemon myrtle is a native Australian plant that is known for its lemony scent and antibacterial and and antioxidant properties.
Lemongrass is the tropical grass you didn't know you needed! It's loaded with essential vitamins and minerals that give your immune system a boost, keep your skin fresh, and supports your fertility and overall wellbeing. Plus, its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to battle those pesky free radicals and reduce inflammation in the body, making it perfect for when you're in the baby-making phase of life.
Ginger is a bit of a stud when it comes to reproductive health. It has some serious anti-inflammatory properties that could help reduce the risk of inflammation and improve your chances of conceiving. After all, nobody likes a cranky uterus, and inflammation can mess with fertility. So, drinking ginger tea is doing your reproductive system a solid.
Calendula is pretty (the little yellow petals). But that's not the only reason we added it. It's also a potent anti-inflammatory (you may see people using it in skincare products or to treat skin irritation). It's also rich in antioxidants and helps protect the body against oxidative stress.
How do I brew Morning Glo tea?
Place 2 teaspoons per cup of tea (250ml) into a strainer. Pour boiling water (100 degrees) over the tea and allow tea leaves to infuse for at least 4 minutes. Remove the strainer and enjoy. You can also allow the tea to cool down and pour it over ice or into a smoothie if you prefer to have it cold.
